Dato Peter Chin at ENERBON

ENERBON at IGEM2011 in discussion with Y.B. Dato’ Sri Peter Chin Fah Kui, Minister of Energy, Green Technology and Water Malaysia. Martin Schmidt, Managing Director ENERBON introduced the services and projects, whereby Dato’ advised to focus on Sabah and Sarawak for Biogasplants with CDM and the additional water treatment to BOD20.

Discussion with Y.B. Dato’ Sri Peter Chin Fah Kui, Minister of Energy, Green Technology and Water Malaysia:

ENERBON provide Technology, Know-How and Operational Services to reach discharge water quality better than BOD 20 in the Palm Oil Industry. In the discussion with Minister Dato’ Sri Peter Chin during IGEM 10th September 2011, Martin Schmidt pointed out the possibility of 2 step treatment with anaerobe and aerobe Waste to Energy Technology. The added value is not only given in compliance to the BOD 20 regulation of the DOE but also in generating revenue streams like Biogas, Energy, Fertilizer, Water Recycling, Cellulosic – high calorific – Pallets and CDM (Carbon Credits).

Peter Chin pointed out, that there is “desperate need for this technology especially in Sabah and Sarawak, where some Palm Oil Mills got fined seriously and even closed”.

Actually, ENERBON and its business partners have secured first LoA’s for 4 palm Oil Mills in Sabah and the first steps for the project development are ongoing in close teamwork with the mill owner and mill management. “Up to today, there is NO constant and long term stable discharge of less than BOD 20 given in the Palm Oil Industry and many eyes and ears are close to the project development of ENERBON”.

Many Thanks for the short and important talk, Minister Dato’ Sri Peter Chin.

Martin Schmidt,

Managing Director,
